IGNITE: Inspire your creativity and explore professional acting technique

Age: 12-15 years

Work with our team of professional artists to hone your creative skills and begin developing your own performance style.  Whether you are trying acting for the first time or extending your skills, this course will IGNITE your creativity and give you the confidence and skills to step out into the spotlight.

Ignite
Mornings:

 Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm (3 hours)
Skill level: Intermediate.  Ideal for previous studioQ participants.  New participants welcome by application. Please contact Tricia Ryan for more details.

 Voices on Stage
An exciting new program with our studioQ Musical Theatre & Singing tutor.  Learn how to interpret a piece of music for performance both individually and as part of a group.  Never sung before? Rhythmically challenged? Don’t worry, this program is designed to get you in the groove, no matter what your starting point! Learning how to use music in performance is a skill that will set you apart from the crowd. This is the first step in finding your true voice for the stage! 
 
Ignite
Afternoons:		 Saturday 1:15pm – 4:15pm (3 hours)
Skill level: No experience required
 

 

        

 Term 2:

 

 

Move it! : Physical Theatre
Build on the skills learnt in Term 1 and continue your creative journey in acting and storytelling.  This term incorporates movement and physical theatre skills essential to the actor’s toolkit.
