Starting Out is the first step in your child’s creative development with studioQ. Over 2 semesters filled with fun and exhilarating creative play our professional tutors lead students on a journey of creative discovery covering the fundamentals of contemporary performance technique including storytelling, character development and working with texts.

About the Tutor: Therese Cook
Therese Cook discovered the world of circus arts in 2005. Since initial circus workshops, Therese has trained and performed with Ruby Bloomers Womens’ Circus, attended classes and private tuition at Aerialize Theatre, intensive training workshops at Tasmanian Circus Festival, Hoopy Happenings Training Camp, was given a scholarship to train and attend the first National Indigenous and Social Circus Conference at CarriageWorks, has trained under Danielle Antaki, Julian Bell, Tahmour Bloomfield, John Hinton, Catherine Hassell, Ira Seidenstein, and continues aerial training with Kate Reid. In 2009, Therese formed The Arcade Circus and continues to train and performe with the Arcade Circus esemble.
Cost:
$275.00 per term / $500.00 if booking by semester (2 consecutive terms).
$40 Annual Membership Fee
