STEPPING UP: find your creative self

Age: 8-12 years

Step up to the challenge of finding your own creative voice.  Work with professional artists to develop your acting skills and a love of performance in a safe, supportive and fun environment.  Experience the excitement of performing on a world class stage with the kids from your own neighbourhood!

Stepping Up
Mornings:		 Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm (3 hours)
Skill level:  No previous experience required
 

 

 

 

 Term 2:

Make It Up! : Physical Theatre
Work with our studioQ circus and physical theatre trainer to turn your creative ideas into a story for the stage.  Participants will build on the improvisation skills developed in term 1 whilst learning a host of physical performance tricks like juggling and balancing to create an exciting storytelling adventure. Be prepared for an extreme amount of fun!

Stepping Up
Afternoons:

 Saturday 1:15pm – 4:15pm (3 hours)
Skill level:  No previous experience required
 		  
                              

Term 2:                   

Move It! : Physical Theatre
Build on the skills learnt in Term 1 and continue your creative journey in acting and storytelling.  This term incorporates movement and physical theatre skills essential to the actor’s toolkit.
