Errol Flynn saw them, loved them, named them. The Jolly Boys are one of the world’s great living music treasures and they’re here for their very first Australian concert. The Jolly Boys are a six piece Mento band from Jamaica whose music fuses classic Mento with contemporary Rock and Pop, with covers of classics such as Amy Winehouse’s ‘Rehab’.
Think Buena Vista Social Club meets Bob Marley meets Tony Bennett. Find out for yourself what Lou Reed, Bono and Sade (to name a few!) raved about.
This will be the hot ticket of Sydney Festival, so book early to avoid disappointment!
