Speech & Drama Tuition
Many students come to Speech & Drama for the pure joy of language, literature and communication enhancement or to prepare for auditions, drama examinations at school and voice production or corrective speech lessons. Students are encouraged to perform in plays, concerts and Eisteddfods throughout the year.
AMEB (Australian Music Education Board) examinations for Speech and Drama include:
- Speech and Performance Theory
- Drama and Performance
- Drama and Communication
- Voice and Communication
Lynette Sibley is qualified to prepare students to participate in Speech & Drama Examinations. The syllabus of these examinations allows for the progressive development of communication (public speaking, story telling and debating) and acting skills.
Thursday 4:30 - 5:30pm 6-9 years
Friday 4pm - 5pm 10-13 years
Friday 5pm - 6pm 6-9 years
Speech and Drama Tuition fees are $19 per hour.

String Ensemble

Youth Choirs
Currently we have 2 Youth Choirs for different age groups. The Youth Choirs are lead by Lyn Phillips.
Each class rehearses every Tuesday evening for 1 hour.
5-9yrs Youth Choir - Tuesday 4-5pm
10-12yrs Youth Choir - Tuesday 5-6pm
As well as learning to sing, they also learn the fundamentals of music and singing, as well as performance technique, presentation, working as an ensemble, communication and basic music theory associated with the music they sing.
Each class also performs for an annual concert held every year showcasing their talent. Also the classes get opportunities to perform at concerts held at the centre throughout the year.
All classes run according to the state school terms, and fees are paid up front per term. Each class, for all ages, are $15 per week per student.
