Contemporary Popular Music Course
AMEB: CPM (Contemporary Popular Music Course)
The AMEB: CPM course is now available at the Penrith Conservatorium of Music. This course is available in keyboard, voice, drum kit, guitar and bass.
There are two stage:
- Fundamental steps 1-4
- Advancing steps 1-4
Advance steps are geared to candidates who have some basic music skillsand are designed to meet the entrance requirements of tertiary institutions. The Penrith Conservatorium of Music has teachers able to meet these requirements.
The stages relevant to each instrument are as follows:
Keyboard - Fundamental steps 1-4 and Advancing steps 1-4
Voice - Advancing steps 1-4 only
Drum kit - Advancing steps 1-4 only
Guitar and Bass - Advancing steps 1-4 only
