Vocal Ensemble
Currently we have 3 vocal ensemble classes for different age groups. The Vocal Ensembles are lead by Lyn Phillips.
Each class rehearses every Friday evening for 1 hour. Each class has a maximum of 10 students.
5-7yrs Vocal Ensemble - Friday 4-5pm
8-12yrs Vocal Ensemble - Friday 5-6pm
13-16yrs Vocal Ensemble - Friday 6-7pm
As well as learning to sing, they also learn the fundamentals of music and singing, as well as performance technique, presentation, working as an ensemble, communication and basic music theory associated with the music they sing.
Each class also performs for an annual concert held every year showcasing their talent. Also the classes get opportunities to perform at concerts held at the centre throughout the year.
All classes run according to the state school terms, and fees are paid up front per term. Each class, for all ages, are $15 per week. Term 1 2010 is a 9 week term, therefore $135 is to be paid at the beginning of term 1.
