Kerrie O’Connor-Brown

As a vocalist and pianist, Kerrie O’Connor-Brown, has extensive experience in performance and teaching. She examines for ANZCA on a regular basis and is an Associate of the AMEB Board.
Kerrie is a graduate from the NSW Conservatorium of Music and has undertaken further study abroad with Professor Modesti in Paris, Ernest Metz in New York and Vida Harford in England. She has also been admitted as an Associate, Licentiate and Fellow of Trinity College, London.
Kerrie’s performance career has encompassed musical theatre, opera, oratorio and lieder. She has won many competitions including the Australian Finals of the Alla Scala Competition, the State Finals of the ABC Vocal and Instrumental Competition, and was one of the Artists-in-Residence for the Sydney International Piano Competition. Kerrie has also performed as a Guest Soloist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra for concerts organised by the ABC and was selected to perform in master classes conducted by Gerard Souzay and Geoffrey Parsons.
