Rebecca Hilder is a highly experienced teacher and Soprano performer, with over ten years of teaching experience. She has performed a variety of roles in fully staged productions of traditional operas and new works. Most recently she completed a year with Opera Australia’s OzOpera Schools Company.
Rebecca has worked with international directors such as Moffat Oxenbould, Elke Neidhardt, Cathy Dadd and Constantine Koukias. She has performed in master classes with Richard Bonynge, David Wakeham, Anke Höppner, Andrew Dalton, Barry Ryan, Jane Edwards, Janice Chapman, Nicole Dorigo (Italian and French diction) and Elisabeth Pillgrab (German diction).
Rebecca worked regularly for three years with international director and movement and stagecraft coach Anna Sweeny, and has worked with Australia’s most respected vocal coaches including Michael Black, Andrew Greene, Stephen Mould, Simon Kenway and Sharolyn Kimmorley.
