Tomomi is an improv theatre musician, session musician, solo pianist, accompanist, composer, arranger, musical director, examiner, adjudicator and teacher. She began studying music at age 4 and plays almost all genres of music ranging from Opera, Musicals, Classical, Jazz, Rock, R & B, Latin, Soundtrack, Country, Chanson, Canzone, Tango and so on ...
Just as Tomomi appreciates all kinds of music and various ways in which she enriches her life through music, she enjoys teaching people of all ages and backgrounds.
Tomomi holds a Bachelor of Music degree with Honors in Composition from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education from the University of NSW. She has received a John Antill Composition Scholarship Award and numerous Performer and Teacher Awards from the Yamaha Music Foundation.
