Vivien Jeffery

A.Mus.A

Vivien has played as soloist with orchestras around Australia and at venues such as the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne and the Sydney Opera House in Sydney. After learning Suzuki as a child Vivien began studying at the Australian Institute of Music in Year 11 and in 2002 she was awarded her Bachelor of Music (1st class honours) majoring in Violin Performance. Vivien was a scholarship holder at the Australian National Academy of Music in Melbourne from 2004-2005. She recently returned from Berlin, Germany where she completed a post graduate course studying at the "Hanns Eisler" Hochschule fur Musik with respected soloist and chamber musician, Antje Weithaas.

Vivien has her A.Mus.A in piano.

She also has interests in swing jazz and improvisation.
