An Introduction to Physical Theatre for 13-15 year olds
Tuesday 19 January 10am-4pm
Get ready to move and enter the amazing world of physical theatre, a popular contemporary performance style where movement is the main communication device. Using a wide range of musical styles, tutor Nikki Heywood will introduce you to this amazing new world and help you to create meaningful roles, characters and narratives without even using your vocal chords!

Meet the Tutor – Nikki Heywood
A specialist in movement based theatre, Nikki is a performer, director and dramaturg with a career spanning three decades. She devises and directs original work, including Burn Sonata (a renowned production which featured at the 1998 Adelaide Festival and toured nationally in 2000), as well as making work as a solo performer, including Jean/Lucretia.

Make your way to the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre Box Office – Nikki will meet you there.
