UNIFORM WORLD
Japan Photos by Harold David

Opens Sunday 15 November until January 2010

A unique exhibition of photographs by celebrated Australian fashion photographer Harold David. Shot in Japan over the last twelve months, David's spectacular large format colour portraits brilliantly capture Japanese workers and their wonderfully idiosyncratic uniforms from Penrith's two ‘sister' cities - Fujieda and Hakusan.

Also on exhibition will be Master Works: The Prints of Tetsuo Aoki marking the Australian exhibition debut of master Japanese printmaker Tetsuo Aoki and Tatami World - an exquisite installation of miniature tatami mats created by the Ohura master tatami makers of Hakusan City.

For more information about the exhibition and Gallery hours please contact: Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest on 4735 1100 or visit www.penrithregionalgallery.org
